What my church means to me.
|
|
My church is a one-of-a-kind
church. Not your average, typical religious organization,
but a vibrant viable part of my life. I can go to my church
and always find the Word of God preached (by the best
preacher in the world). I can go to my church and find
strength for today and hope for tomorrow. I can find true
worship and praise, friendship, joy, peace, and love. I also
can find others with these same needs. it almost sounds too
good to be true, but it is true! My church is where God has
called me and where He dwells in every believer. I thank Him
for being my Heavenly Father and I thank Him for my church.

My church has brought the
Bible to life for me and because of this my relationship
with Jesus has gotten better. I feel we are getting into a
closer relationship which in turn helps me to know god's
specific will for my life.

For me, my church means home.
It is a safety net and a place where i can come and worship
God. It is a place where I can feel safe and be able
to be myself.

My church has been my anchor
through the hard times in my life. Without the support of
the people of BSBT, I wouldn't be alive today. But, because
of the love and the teaching of God's word, I am growing
closer to Jesus everyday and am thankful for the ministry to
which He has called me.
