At Blue Springs Baptist Temple we take ministry seriously. Not only do we see ministry as an effective way of reaching others for Christ, we also see it as a process of growth within our own congregation. Whether it is working in the nursery, teaching a class, or just being there when someone needs you, it's all important to the function of the local body of Christ.
Weekly BSBT Ministries:
• Bible Study (Wednesdays 7 p.m.)
Our Wednesday evening "Bible Study" is designed to build and equip believers into a stronger relationship in Christ and a "deeper" knowledge of God's Holy Word. It will challenge you to get into the Word!
• Fun Church (Sundays 11 a.m.)
"Beginner Church" and "Fun Church" is offered during our Sunday Morning Worship service tailor-made for ages 3-12 so everyone has a place to learn and grow.
• Kings Kids (Sundays 6 p.m.)
Kings Kids is a fantastically fun Christian club for kids aged kindergarten thru 6th grade. We meet every Sunday night at 6:00 for a power- packed hour of lessons, games, and sharing Christ. Each child earns points and ribbons that go toward special prizes at the end if every quarter. Come and join us, you will be glad you did!
• Project Praise (Sundays 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.)
"Project Praise" led by Jack Vaught, not only sets the mood for worship and praise but also ministers outside the church at various functions and venues.
• Teen Group (every other Sunday 11 a.m.)
Our "Teen Ministry" is led by Jack and Christy Vaught who are excited and on fire for the cause of Christ and reaching the youth in our community.
Other BSBT Ministries:
• Drama
Our "Drama Team", led by Wes and Deb Hanson, performs relevant, exciting, short skits that help prepare our hearts for worship and God's Word.
• Discipleship
Our "One on One" discipleship program has a proven positive results in building a strong foundation for those who complete the program.
• Prayer and Care
We believe that God hears and answers prayer. If you have a need, we care. We will take your need boldly before the throne of God through prayer. We have an emergency prayer team that is on call 24/7.
