Blue Springs Baptist Temple (BSBT) was founded in 1976 by Pastor John Walters as a way

to reach the city of Blue Springs. BSBT was founded as part of the Baptist Bible Fellowship

and as an extention of Blue Ridge Baptist Temple located in Kansas City, MO. 

In 1983, Pastor Walters was called to serve in Texas and BSBT called Pastor James Russell

as our Senior Pastor.  Since then, we've seen a lot of changes--a new building, new faces,

new technologies...but the one thing that has remained consistent is that BSBT has always been,

and will always be, about the business of preaching the Kindgom of Christ. We stand firmly on

the Word of God and belive that, WITH GOD, all things are possible! 

We believe that God is no respector of persons and neither are we. 

"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God

is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him,

and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."

We believe all men and women are created equal and we welcome anyone to attend our services--no matter where you came from, your history, or your hurts. God loves you just as much as He loves Jesus and He longs to have a relationship with you.
